My all time favourite playstation game has to be Pro Evolution Soccer 5, and this game has been a big part of my life here at university so far. Myself and housemate Andy set ourselves the huge challenge of winning the Konami Cup on the same team by the 27th of October, 2006 - the day that Pro Evo 6 was to be released. If we failed to make this happen we were banned from buying the new game until we did. So as it happens, the last 4 or 5 weeks have seen us battling it out, heart break after heart…

I thought it would be cool to talk a little bit about how I came up with the branding for danieloliver.co.uk. Why I did certain things the way I did and the process of putting all of my ideas together to get to the final result you see on this site currently.

∞The HTML Times
17th October 2006
A little late posting this one on the site, but I’ll get over it. Last week we had to code a website that adopted a newpaper-like format. I knocked this together purely with just CSS and without any tables. The design has only been tested on Mac OS X browsers, so there is a chance it’s broken in Internet Explorer on windows. I have attached a screenshot of what it should look like at the end of this post. If you can, open it in a decent browser such as Firefox or Safari.
