∞The life of a student: First impressions

It’s been almost 4 weeks since I first moved into my halls here at the University of Plymouth. It’s unreal how quick the time has gone since coming up here but it’s been brilliant. The course seems really good and shows a lot of promise and as for my house mates, well they are just awesome. It’s been pretty much none stop fun so far and hopefully it will continue that way.
I already feel as though I have become a lot more independent, but I’m probably kidding…

Started out as a random sketch when I was bored watching Deal or No Deal but ended up taking it into Fireworks and having a quick play. Not sure I’m happy with the shadows. Again may be something I’ll take further in the future, but doubtful because I’m lazy.

I can’t really describe who or what this little fella is. All I can tell you is that I saw him as graffiti at the local bus station and thought it would be cool to recreate bits of him. When I have the motivation to do so I’m going to add more to him and tidy him up a bit sometime in the future.

This site danieloliver.co.uk was originally planned to be another online portfolio for both commercial and personal projects for uni but it’s now looking as though it’s going to become my blog on all things university related. Both work and play.
I’m just about 3 weeks into my life here at Plymouth University where I’m doing Digital Art and Technology and I have to say, so far so good.…
