IDAT103 Assignment 1: Weather page

12th October 2006

Today we were handed out a new assignment for IDAT103. We have to construct a splash screen page for a weather website in photoshop. We have a number of design constraints which we have to keep to for the assignment.

The design must:

  • be no larger then 800x600 pixels
  • be as visually stunning as possible
  • be no larger then 200k in file size

It’s a 2 week deadline which is pretty reasonable, so expect to see perhaps some previews of what I come up with on here within the next week or so.
