SOFT131: Test results

02nd November 2006

On Monday morning we had our first relatively important test for SOFT131, which counts for 25% for this specific module. The test was on VBScript, which wasn’t so bad. The language doesn’t take very long to pick up and so far the module has been pretty good going.

Well we got our results from the test this afternoon and I’m pretty pleased to say I got 38.5 out of 50 (77%), which as far as I’m aware is the equivalent to a First (more than 70%). As soon as we finished the test I had one of those golden moments when you realise what the answer to one of the questions really was, which is more then annoying. Can’t complain though as I didn’t really do the amount of revision that I should have done for the test so I’m happy with the results.

Next up we are working on an assignment for this module, which is to produce a maths game that is designed to help young children with their maths (oddly enough). I like to think I have an idea of what I’m doing, so hopefully this shouldn’t give me too much of a headache over the next few weeks.
