Trials blog

23rd January 2007

The past week or so I have been spending a little bit of free time planning a new website called Trials Blog. It’s not like yet, but I’m making good progress on the site and fully expect it to be live next week, maybe even sooner if the damn domain name hurries up and propagates. It’s a frustrating wait.

So a little more on what the Trials Blog will be all about. Well, oddly enough it will be all about trials (I know - weird isn’t it?). As many of you know, I absolutely love riding trials. I ride both motorcycle trials and push bike trials, but its with the motorcycles where my heart truly lies so I thought I would start a blog so I have somewhere I can rant and rave about nothing but trials. I expect the majority of readers on this site know nothing about trials and have no interest in what I am saying here, but that doesn’t bother me and it’s partly the reason I am starting a completely different site so I can have a place where I can target a different audience.

The site will start off with just me writing bits and bobs and posting links to my favourite trials findings while on my ventures around the interweb. Hopefully in time I will be able to persuade a few more trials fans to write and update the site with their own opinions as well. As time goes on I want it to be almost like a trials social network with different members running their own blogs on the site. It’s got a lot of potential but I want it to grow and build things slowly around it’s growth so I can take it in any direction I want.

So there you have it. Keep your eyes peeled.
